Scaldis
Antwerp-based Scaldis Salvage and Marine Contractors is an offshore contractor performing projects involving marine-based heavy lift equipment. Scaldis' fleet consists today of a multipurpose sea-going heavy lift vessel Rambiz. The Rambiz is fully certified for ocean passage with cranes fully erected, has a lifting capacity of 3,300 tons and is suitable for platform installation and removal, salvage operations and other special heavy lifting tasks.
The Gulliver, with a lifting capacity of 4,000 tons, is in the process of being commissioned and operational early 2018 to support and expand the services, including the installation of offshore infrastructures and decommissioning-deconstruction activities for the oil and gas industry as well as the installation of offshore wind farms. The DP vessel can also be used for any type of marine related heavy lifting work in challenging circumstances, such as the construction of bridge components and clearing subsea obstacles. The provision of a helipad in combination with accommodation for 78 people means Scaldis is capable of providing a varied range of additional services. Scaldis
